Aether Fly (Jam Version)

Control an aether fly, an interdimensional insect that travels through portals. Your movement is confined within the portals radius, but the creatures of the worlds you'll visit can attack through that radius. Stay alive to grow the portal and travel as far as you can.

Controls: Controller- left stick, moves aether fly.

This is my submission to Bullet Hell Jam 2022.  All art and music was made by me during the jam. The original idea for this game was a quite a lot more ambitious than what I manage to finish in time. About 75% of the planned content didn't make it into this build. This was actually suppose to be a "rhythm" bullet hell game, but I wasn't really satisfied with how the mechanic was working, so I scraped it near the end of finishing the jam build. I'm a bit disappointed I wasn't able to get all the cool stuff in the game before I ran out of time. That's why I've decided to continue working on the game after the jam has ended. I have so many more ideas for this game, I hope you'll come back to check it out :)
